General Information About Our Products
Performance Accessories products are designed to fit new condition stock vehicles. Any use os a product on a vehicle other than the use specifically listed in the Application Guide, will result in difficulty of installation, possible damage to the vehicle, and will void all Performance Accessory product warranties. For some applications, extensive modification and some welding are involved. In those instances, we recommend that the installation be performed by an experienced installer and that the welding be accomplished by a certified welder. If larger tires are installed in conjunction with a body lift kit or a shackle kit, we recommend the installation of Performance Accessories Stability Series shock absorbers. Before combining a body lift with a suspension lift, consult an installation professional to see how this will affect your specific application.
Warning To The Vehicle Owners
Any time a vehicle is modified by installation of a kit, it assumes unique handling characteristics. Because of the higher center of gravity, a lifted vehicle handles and reacts differently, both on and off road, than a passenger car would under similar circumstances. You must drive it safely! Take extreme care to prevent vehicle rollover or loss of control, which could result in injury or death. Avoid sudden sharp turns or abrupt maneuvers. Fasten seatbelts, reduce speed, and have a safe and enjoyable ride.
